Well, a friend of mine was just denied a sears card. He has one account that was paid but no active credit lines. Sears said that a 16 month credit history is needed with no derrogatories. It has to be active and show some kind of payment history. I just wanted to let you guys know what my friend said about being approved. Hope this helps someone.
