I have an acct with Sears that has a DLA of 11/97 with Eq, 01/04 with Xpn, and 12/03 with Tu. The acct was CO'd on 11/97 with EQ and 01/02 with Xpn. The acct was sold to RMA and now has a new acct number with a DLA of 05/98 I read a post by KevPochop... (http://consumers.creditnet.com/straighttalk/board/showthread.php?s=&postid=393629#post393629) ...that said Sears holds their accts for 8 months before CO and would like to know if any proof needs to be submitted with a dispute to CRA's to require a "reasonable investigation" so CRA's can just verify name, address, etc or is proof even necessary? Thanks Dave
