O.k. just got home and found this in my mailbox: Alrightythen! All I have to do is sign the certificate, provide my ssn and phone number, and put the credit issue number sticker on the front. Funny thing is the previous tennent got the SAME OFFER and what's funny is that the credit issue number (showing through the envelope) was the SAME! HA! LOL... Anyone have experience with this sort of offer from Sears? The APR was 17.75% but went up to 21.9% as of 4/02. If I remember correctly from a long time ago, I think they check TU in CA. I don't think I'll even bother with this card since I haven't been to Sears in 6 years. Last time I went there was to have my kid's picture taken. I'll admit...it's nice to get offers in the mail again. I remember for a long time no one (not even Discover) sent me ANY offers!
Yes, I got one for the Sears MC. It said up to 10,000. I got approved for 500. I called and told them no thank you! (btw - I have no credit limits below 10k)
