My credit limit started 3 years ago was $3000, a few late pays and now it's at 260.00 hahhahahhahhahahhahaha, I now have

    2 Citi AA cards
    2 Capitol one cards
    1 gm card
    1 actionfirst card
    1 helzberg card
    1 radio shack
    1 best buy

So I am ok card wise, but the kicker is I really like sears a lot (there shoes especially) but the limit thing has really burned me up !

They might but when Keith Wise left Sears Credit several years ago to join the now bankrupt Diamond Home Services (better known as Diamond Exteriors) they took a heavy hit and tightened up their procedures.

For those that don't know Diamond was started by Several top Sears executives to do home improvements as a seperate company but using Sears name. These people liked diamonds so much they drained the company dry after a few years hurting many people.

So, Sears lost a lot of money and as the credit business is their single largest profit center they are hard to deal with.

Still, try you may get lucky.
