I've seen some ads on the internet where companies will help you add seasoned credit to your credit report for a fee. The claim is they can add from 1 to 15 years in any amount. Has anyone out there had any luck doing this? If so, which company did you use, what was the cost and how long did it take for the positive entry to appear? Thanks.
1) That would be fraud on anyone you opened an account with using this credit line. If you later went bankrupt, you might find the court would not dismiss debts obtained using fraud. 2) Do you really want to give personal identification information to a company involved in illegal activities? If they don't do what you paid for, you couldn't expect to get your money back. What could you do, sue them for not illegally reporting false information?
OK, thanks. I heard you can ask a friend or relative with good credit to add you to their account as an authorized user and build a history that way but was not sure about using an outside company.

The matter has been discussed here on the board different times over the years. Stay away from it, if you get involved you are as guilty as they are and can be prosecuted right along with them.
OK so does that mean it is alright to add seasoned credit or is it illegal like the other postings claim?
Didn't you read my post? Did you do a search to see what else has been posted about this? ****************************************************** NEW MEMBERS READ THIS. http://consumers.creditnet.com/straighttalk/board/showthread.php?s=&postid=410243#post410243 ******************************************************* >
