Secondary Credit Numbers

    I want to know if secondary credit numbers can be issued to start a new credit file if used properly?From what I heard they are not illegal if not used to start a new identity ...can someone please give me more info..

    Illegal, period. Don't land yourself in jail.

    The guy that gave me this information said that law firms have these numbers registered etc..thats why I am asking these questions thx

    Ask the guy if thats what he did.You need to know that it's against the law.Just because a lawyer says its legal doesn't mean it's legal after all the prisons are full of ex-lawyers.

    I am an attorney and I will tell you now that creating a separate credit profile and then going and applying for credit is a felony.

    These companies tell you that the Social Security Privacy Act of 1974 allow this. It is inapplicable and what they cite to was never enumerated by Congress.

    In short, they're lying to you in order to get your money. They're good CSO's and bad ones.

    Don't do it.

    Ask yourself this...if it were legal, why do you have to provide an address that you have never been associated with?
