I got the secured Optima; it took approximately 4 weeks from the time I mailed the $200 check until the card arrived. They check Experian to verify your address and social security number. If your bureau report does not indicate the address you put on the application, they will ask for a copy of a recent utilty bill as proof (I had to send a recent phone bill).
