What is the best secured card offer out there that will not only report as unsecured but reasonable deposit?

    Thanks

    Mark:

You may want to look at Providian, Capital One and Sterling Bank.

I personally like First Premiere, They do report to all 3 bureaus, timely. Also they are fairly easy to qualify for.

Try FCNB. They will match your deposit up to 300% depending on your credit profile. I have heard they have excellent customer service and will often review your account for an unsecured status after 1 year. Providian is also a good choice. I have had no problems with them and their customer service has been excellent when I have called. The interest rate is somewhat steep, but they give generous credit limit increases and you may be able to negotiate the interest rate after a while. Good luck!

Don't use Providian. They report their secured cards as Secured Credit Card. It showed up on the Trans Union report.

Providian lists the card as secured when they report it to the credit bureaus.

Capital One does *not* note this fact.
