I am determined to get a new positive tradeline through a secured card. I am now current on everything. Will the following lenders consider me despite a checkered 2-3 months here?

    Bank of America
    American Pacific
    US Bank

Or can someone suggest a decent secured card? I am not getting it to spend money. I have to buy food and gas, so it will be almost like a check card for me that I WILL pay off every 2 weeks.

I've heard even the secured Bofa is hard to get.

I think you've got a shot at the American Pacific.

I don't know anything about US bank.

If you search for American Pacific you'll find the approval guidelines somewhere. I know I read them here before.

    Good luck

American Pacific wants to see negatives at least 6 months old.

    Bank America is 2 years.

Bank of Lousiana is easy to get too.

Also go to your local bank!

Almost every bank has secured cards. Their fees are less and it's good to have a local bank card.
