Sorry for all the questions. I've spent all day on here searching and checking things out and so I have tons of followup questions.

My friend's equifax score is about a 520 and his TU is about a 420. He has no positives on his reports at all. Would he be able to get a secured card and would this help improve his rating? He is trying to become an AU on his mom's card..dont know if she will go for that. Any other ways to get positives on his report? He has about 11 negs. Thanks.

    My 2 cents....

Your friend can try for a secured card and might get it. However, I would suggest working on the negative items 1st and the options will open up.

What is the reason for the rush??? (just asking)

Not really a rush. Just that we've been working on this for about 2 months now and he has been making good money at his job and we have been talking about possibly opening a business and buying a house..that kind of thing...

    vanili,

I see you mentioned opening a business...........I am wanting to venture that way also. However, I don't know alot about starting a business. Can I email you some questions about it (if you don't mind)????????
