Secured Optima decrease score?

    If I could get a secured Optima when they become available again... would adding a secured card to all my unsecured accounts actually hurt me? I've been told creditors can tell if your accounts are secured or not.

    Even accounts that report as secured DO NOT hurt your score or cause any derogitory effect on your ability to gain more credit!

    This is just perinoia!

    Should not have any effect on your score. It was also my opinion that they did not report this account to any CRA's. Did they recently start this ?
