Does this card still exist? I found the app on the AMEX website when funding my Cobalt but I thought someone had said it was cancelled? If so, I may pull some "tricks" and play with FICO a bit.........I heard the secured AMEX has never reported to the CRAs. Steph
Yes, the secure Optima does exsist. I have had mine for a year now. They stopped accepting apps. last October the 17th. It doesn't report but you can get confirmation of account referred to whom it may concern as far as a credit reference. I have done this on several ocassions to boost my potenial acceptability for other credit. You also now have the option to participate in the membership rewards program.
Damn, that sux. I wanted another taste of AMEX besides that Cobalt card and to get in good with them. Are they planning anything for the sub primers? Steph
