I just received an offer from Security First National Bank (SFNB). Went to their web site - but would like to know if anyone has had any experience with them. Customer service, credit line increases, etc. Is this a subprime card? They do offer a 9.9% gold card; no platinum.

    They are a good bank.

    Very stingy about credit lines.

They gave me a card with a 1k limit. After my account was about 10 months old, and they still would not increase my limit, I closed the account.

I personally have no use for a card with a 1k limit. It's just too restrictive for me.

9.90 for a Gold Card and 12.9% for their classic. And your asking sub-prime???

Security First National Bank was the #1 online bank at www.gomezwire.com.

Personally I'm very pleased with SFNB. Their customer service is pleasant and friendly--on many occasions a human has picked up the phone within seconds ;-)

As for their credit card, I don't have it, being a subprimer, but my hubby does. They started him out with a $3K limit, and he recently increased it, but this was after over 2 years...

    My .02,
    Cindy
