The other significant negative I have are two Chase Visa accounts that have 30 and 60 day lates in 1996 and 1997 and a series of lates up to 150-days in 1998. Chase closed the accounts in 1997, but they were never charged off. Their peak balances were abour $8200 and $3300, and they were both paid in full including interest.

After one round of disputes, they were verified at EQ and EX but on TU they now report as "never late." I have been considering writing to Chase and asking them to delete the delinquencies in light of the payoff and my continuing status as a Chase customer (I do my banking there). However, I don't want to risk them sending an update to TU.

    Again, all comments welcome.

I would send another letter to dispute and say not accurrate because you were NEVER late. Continue and keep sending the letters and eventually they may fix it.
