    Hi,
Iâ??m about to ask for copy of my credit report from all 4 CRAâ??s, and this is my first time to do this. Is it safe to send a copy of my SSN? I see they need proof of address, DL or SSN.

    Thanks!
    Denny

Type it on the letter...YOU DON'T NEED A PHOTO COPY

    Hi George,

So I don't need to send any proof or photocopy's of my documents? I just have to write my info, right?

    Thanks,
    Denny

I NEVER have sent any "PROOF" of anything...

Some have had to send a copy of the water or gas or phone bills for proof of address...but they had moved recently.

When you PAY (ON-LINE) you don't have to show any PROOF!!!

So anyone who knows my personal info can order copy of my credit report? And can receive it without my knowledge?

I SUPPOSE..."IF" they know ALL the answers and PAY FOR IT...

No, since the CRA would mail it to one of the addresses that they have on file, UNLESS it didn't match, then they would send you a letter saying something that sounds like "We're unable to process your request because your information isn't valid. Please provide us the documentation requested."

I couldn't even join one of the CRA's Credit Monitoring services because they sent out a letter stating that my address information didn't match...
