I've read several posts where people have had some luck getting deletions by sending a credit report from one CRA to the others. I can't quite figure out how this is done. Just what exactly do you show/say to to the other CRA's , "see -- here it isn't", or do you actually send an old report that shows the item along with a new one that shows the item is no longer there.
It only works if you have an account showing never late with one CRA. You can't prove a negative, so sending a report won't work if you have had the account totally removed.
I have a chargeoff with the DOLA as of 12/95 with EQ...the same same CO is listed with EX 10/96, would it do any good to send EQ my EX report to update to 12/95(the accurate date)? mark
