About 6 weeks ago I sent Amex a modified "daughter of nutcase" letter I found here. After 5 weeks of waiting with no response from them I wrote them an intent to sue letter if they don't delete a derog tradaline about 5 y/o that they keep veryfing over and over at cra's. BTW I will take them to small claims court . Today I received a letter from them, some person at the "Amex credit bureau unit". it reads "bla bla.. An unsatisfactory experience was released to the credit reporting agencies listed below. This unsatisfactory status will remain on your credit report." "If we can be of further assistance bla bla." Then they list all 3 cra's I know that OC's don't have to validate but my letter to them was extremely litigious and my second letter even more and they don't seem to be batting an eyelid. Are these guys so indifferent to nutcase letters or are they just being a$$es? Anybody have any experience negotiating charge-offs with AMEX?
