Now I never received any information from Viking Collection to validate the debt. It was ignored.
I didn't receive a call or letter from them for about 3 months, then all of a sudden, the calls started back and the letters are hitting again.

Mr. Bass has been calling me and from information I've gathered on here, I do not talk to him.
After hanging up on him the other day, he called back with a threatening message.

What should my next step be? Should I resend a validation letter?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also, If I have a CITI CC acount that was closed "grantors request" can i get that information removed from my CR?

    Thanks
    Bobby

    1) Did you send your request for validation CRRR?
    2) In what way was the message threatening?
    3) Have they sent you a letter, with the "mini-Miranda" notice, and does it have any information on the account?
    4) Do you believe this is or is not yours, do you believe the account balance is or is not correct, is the tradeline being reported correctly, etc?

    1) YES
    2) a voice mail saying "Bad move bobby... i wish you luck.." but it was said in a hasty hateful way... typical CA employee pissed they have to work on a Sat afternoon.
    3) They have sent me only single page letters with the Account Information on it... ie it's from Capital One, it has my Capital One Account Number on it and the amt. owed.
It's basically a letter saying that this is an attempt to collect a debt.
    4) Yes I do believe it is, and it is being reported correctly.

The account was CO in Sept of 2003. I would like to make an attempt to pay it off, but do not want to pay it to the CA. Is this possible?
    Thanks

    Don't pay before they validate.
