Here is the situation. Spoke w/ NCO on student loan rehab. Made 1st payment over phone. I taped it and have them asking me if I wanted to set op each months payment then. I said NO, i would pay each month. Paid last months and now got a calll saying that they need to have next months payment set up w/ a postdated check. I told them that I was busy and I will speak to them later. I know the FDCPA say that they can't threaten criminal prosecution. I am planning on giving them the rope and letting them hang themselves when I call back. Any suggestions? P.S. b/c of this site I already have them on not sending me the required notice of intent to cash a postdated check. Also on calling me at work when I told them that I can't get any calls. If I can get a few more my loan will be paid for by them.
