I need to know if by sending a settlement letter does that limit my otions down the road if they refuse. The scenario: Account charged off for $400. Want to settle in full for complete deletion. Should I validate first, get them on violations and then negotiate for deletion based on that? Also, I think I vaguely remember this company because they sent me their credit card in the mail and I didn't remember filling out an app for it. Or should I shoot straight for settlement with full deletion since I am looking for quick resolution. Thanks,
Also can someone post a link to the settlement letter? I did search but I couldn't find the letter itself.
I think this is an easy one any takers. If not can you give me a specific search term instead of just settlement letter. Thanks
I got the settlement letter. Now I just need to know if sending it will limit my options (validation, dispute etc) in the future. Someone please answer this question so I can send my letter out. Thanks, Robyn
