   Just got off the phone w/ccc 2 accts 179 days past going to PRE CHARGE OFF today if I dont make a pmt in the next couple of hours
   
   I'm holding out for how settlement will be reported
   ccc continues to hold the line saying THEY CANNOT REPORT SETTLEMENT ANY WAY EXECPT "SETTLED"
   
   Should I hold out for better..."PAID" "CLOSED"

   "Charge-Off" versus "Settled Charge-Off" versus "Paid Charge-Off" - they are ALL derogatory. None is better than the other
   
   IMHO, I would make a payment(if you can) to avoid the Charge-Off.
