I had a chargeoff from capital one. It shows i settled. However When i check my credit report they still report every month. SO for the past three years they have reported it OK. The comment line shows This debt has been settled. and it says nothing degrogatory below.It shows 0 balance. THis is from Qspace.com. WHat is up with this?
Settled dosen't help your score and is A Neg.The comment it's self is a Derog. When you settled you should have gotten deleation in writing. I hate it for people who find this out too late like this. It's another skin the customer credit industry con job.
