I have 40K in cc debt over 3 cards, all 5 mos past due. I have explained to to cc I'm self employed in a seasonal business & the only way I could settle is if I don't pay my vendors & pay them therefore I need to get the best deal I can or I'll have to let the carsd charge off. I have been offered 50% from each cc. I need to get to 40% with favorable reporting of all accounts. I'm not wringing my hands over this, but I do want to give it my best shot. Also I have not used any of the cards in 5 years & have paid 30K in fees & interest over that time...I'm done any advise?
