I called this morning (9:00am) to have all the inquiries on my EQU report disputed as of 1:45 today ALL (14) the inquires have been deleted! I'm so excited. No luck with TU. They told me I would have to write a letter to each creditor disputing the information. Once the credior informs me that is was indeed an error then I could mail or fax it to TU before they can remove it.
Congrats! Good work! I would try another phone call to TU (and another rep!). I would also write a written dispute to TU for the inquiries also.
OK, I'm going to do that. I called 2 times and got the same results. I guess I'll keep calling until maybe some gives me a different answer. Thanks for the advice.
