Part of the credit card comapnies scams, is to have a sharp looking card to get people to sign up.. What do you think is the sharpest looking CC out there, My vote is for the seldom seen MBNA EMPLOYEE platinum plus card, my friend has one its a pretty sharp mountain scene. your vote??

Re: Re: Sharpest looking credit card How about the worst-looking card? My pick would have to be the new Generations Bank All Seasons Visa. It's almost completely white in color, with a small Generations logo in the top left hand corner. Looks like a hotel room access key.

Best.....hm our Amex biz card is clear with blue (does that make it blue, darn it, I think not) and chase biz and citi biz all look good. Personally speaking, fleet titanium is neato and I like my mbna too (toughie).....maybe i'm too attached lol. Worst.....office depot (yawn!) and bank one (boring!) My bro got a b of a mini.....now I want one!! wah!
I'm sitting here thinking.....THIS is how I get away from real life?! (gotta have some way to wind down!) I forgot to mention that the best buy card is probably the worst (but aren't most store cards?)
Nightlifer, it DOES look like a hotel access key !!! I thought it was kinda cute until you pointed that out. My vote for ugliest card is a tie. The National City Visa standard card, (Funky green with with silver glitter. Yeeeck.) and the Emerge card. Not only was I embarassed by that rate they were trying to charge, but also by the cheap looking card they sent me.
I like the "see-through" cards! Providian (crappy lender) has a pretty sharp looking card! Smoked colored. BofA's card is pretty sharp and has a BOLD look to it.
For that foreign, exotic, and what-kind-of-card-is-that? look, I can't seem to get over (and now desperately want) the Marukai JCB card (Hawaii): http://www.jcbusa.com/images/marukai_hawaii.jpg http://www.jcbusa.com/cards.htm Only problem is I don't live in Hawaii and I don't want to open any more new accounts until next year... Only way to get around this is if JCB does not report every month to the CRAs. Does anybody know? Anyhoo, for ugliest card, I would say my looks-like-green-formica Capital One card with silver letters. Also, very ugly is my Cap One Visa Plat and uglier still is my DMB Titanium card. The only semi-cool card I currently own is the aforementioned Providian Visa Gold with see-thru, smoky black plastic and tacky gold lettering. Looks kind of funky, and it gets the job done! MisterX
