Re: To those getting ANB preapprovals PERSONALLY SPEAKING, I WOULD RECOMMEND THE CHEVRON CARD. IT REPORTS TO THE BUREAS AND ONCE YOU GET A GAS CARD, OTHER OFFERS START TO COME. I HAVE HAD THE CHEVRON CARD FOR ALMOST A YEAR AND EVERY THREE MONTHS I GET AN OFFER FROM ASSOCIATES FOR THE SHELL CARD JUST MY .10 PIECE.
I have had my Exxon gas card since 1993 & my credit line started @ $300.00; I had 3 of 5 motor mounts that gave me trouble in 1994 & they increased my line to $1500.00(if needed but of course...NOT) to use back when they had full service stations. Since then,they have not increased nor decrease my line of credit.I do not have Mobil(don't like them). Since then,I have acquired a Associates Gold Mastercard.Visa,Texaco,& Shell cards. In my opinion,I believe that my multiple relationships have helped my acquisiton of each card along the way. Peace, Sister Girl
