My 21 year old son (the one with good credit) got turned down for a shell gas card. The only reason given was info contained on the Equifax report. The only thing on the EQ report is that he has one prime card, always paid on time, never late, with a $1000 limit. No negatives, no other credit. He is building his credit slowly and paying off his card in full every month. Is Shell that hard to get, or does he just not yet enough credit? Any input? He uses Shell all the time for gas because it is very convenient and would like their card.
