Should I apply for this Citi card??

Citi charged off an account that I had with them in 2000. Yesterday, I received a letter offering me a CC in the name of a business that I registered (only on paper, just a license). Nothin on the letter indicates that this is an 'application' per se -- it states that I should simply send in the 'acceptance form' or call in to accept the card.

Should I try and get the card? A true prime CC would be nice to have.

The thing is that I don't have a separate taxpayer ID for the 'business' -- I've been using my personall SSN. If I send it in with my SSN, am I wasting my time since I already have a CO with them and my ratings are not good?

    Thanks in advance!

I personally have no business credit, but from what you've described here it sounds like a lost cause to try for a prime card with no TIN. You might want to get the TIN, and start applying for other types of credit, knowing that they'll ask for a personal guarantee and pull your credit on the SSN.
