On january 29th I sent all three CRA's a complaint letter to Delete Innacurate information from our account. Transunion sent us letters back saying they were unable to locate our credit information and needed our full names, social security numbers, etc to update thier file.

Experian said they needed us to furnish proper identification and are asking for our Full Names, current mailing address, ssn, dob, complete addresses for the past 2 years, a government issued identification card, AND a copy of a utility bill, bank statement, etc...

Equifax is saying they couldn't complete ther investigation because i didnt provide sufficient info to investigate my disputes. And then they list all these accounts with acct #'s that arent even mine. Stuff like the Dress barn and Zales, etc.

so my question is, should I give transunion and experian all my information so i can get all this innacurate information off my account? and what Info should I provide equifax with so they wont just send me a letter back saying they don't have enough info.

    Thanks everyone in advance.

You have two choice, 1) give them what they're requesting and attempt to resolve your issues or, 2) don't and stay in your current situation. Really simple as that.

I realize that it can be frustrating in that not many identity theives are out on the periphery trying to steal information from people with bad credit however, you have to play ball if you want to get anywhere in the process.

Give them what they are asking for and get on with disputing the inaccuracies.
