I've been in the process of trying to get an apartment complex vacate a judgement which they cannot find records of or even verify if I live there. WEll long story short, they won't touch it. I haven't paid this judgment for $330.00 plus interest and court cost. Eq and Ex verified it as satisfied and TU just deleted it. I call the courthouse to see if it has been vacated. I has not. Should I just let "sleeping dogs lay" with Eq and Ex.
Well, I'm not sure from your post (forgive me for sometimes being a little dense), but are you saying that you have gone through the process of filing a motion to vacate a judgment? If you are, you should be able to get it vacated on the grounds that you weren't served. Vacating a judgment can be time consuming but it is straightforward: if you call your county courthouse, they will have a packet for you to fill out and complete instructions on the process. So I guess to answer your question, "how badly do you want this thing off of your report?" With some effort, I think you could do it.
