Should inquiry be disputed?

I've pulled my equifax and experian reports. Experian has an inquiry from Progressive Insurance. I remember accessing Progressive's web site but cancelled the request for a quote when they informed me credit report would be checked. Inquiry is not on Equifax report. Scheduled to remain until 5/03. I've already disputed one account from the Experian report and I'm waiting for response.

More than likely the inquiry will be deleted from your EX report, every time I've disputed an INQ through them it's disappeared ( of course that was back in the good old days when you could still dispute online ).

I'm currently disputing them too. I had three, one was automatically removed when we did Doc's trick because it was over a year old. The other two are still in dispute. Now that I know better, I would never let a company pull my credit just to give me a quote I may or may not use to apply. I've learned a lot from hanging around here a few months LOL.
