Well thanks for the shoutout here, although I too was left out of the "goodbye" message from the OTHER place... ;-) Good to have you... what went down over there? I only access from work (good ole M-F) so I didn't get a chance to really read much lately, seeing as how friday was a holiday and all, and even my blood sucking CA wouldn't have us BUG people on a HOLIDAY... oh wait, they just didn't want to pay us holiday pay, has nothing to do with not wanting to disturb people on our national holiday. But yes, just checked out that thread & see some problems that can be addressed for this individual. Will post what I can to help. Also other site is down once again, will be making even more changes. I was going through withdrawls; had known of this site, even read a bit sometimes as well as a few others. So I finally give in to posting, since I needed my FIX, lol Well, I have to be off soon, DH called me at work today upset cause the employer lost critical information on the employees enough to make everyone worried on the ID Theft side of things resulting. So I am working late to re-write my instructions and will have him pass this out tomorrow for those wanting to take steps to insure no harm has come to their credit as a result. Very unfortunate. Was about time for me to re-do the booklets anyway; as the information keeps changing so much. I have a problem, I can't figure out how to turn the e-mail on here so people can contact me, but I did tag this thread to know when you respond though. That helps in the mean time. I get an average of 3 calls a week and they vary from purse / wallet even mail stolen. Bigger cases like: People calling to report their parents putting utility accounts in their name.... then running up a bill going to collections and such. Had lady call me; found out from bank she could not get a mortgage loan; cause someone already had taken a loan out on her house! Had a guy tell me that is checks had been stolen, but not the usual way from his mail box, three guys jumped and robbed a postal worker - stole all the mail from him while he was on route! Lady when to chrch and someone stole her purse! These are just ones that I personally encountered. Crazy out there, just make me mad, so this is my top pet peeve on credit issues. Oh, I am a member over at creditboards, just don't post to often there, they are very friendly but pretty much just ease drop, don't feel the some as Credit Info Center (home). You can drop me an e-mail anytime, I am kind of out of sorts tonight without my usual posting quota, lol. I also visit www.interest.com discussion board - little trick to get to the credit section there, here is the link to right where this section is: http://www.interest.com/cgi-bin/ubb/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&number=52&SUBMIT=Go Find mortgage lenders here that answer questions; this is where I first met Charles (firstsource) and later brought over to credit info center. There are a few other regulars there that are great at helping 1st time home buyers with questions and problems. Well off to roam around some more,
