It has been 29 days since I have been able to get an EXP report (w/ exception of 1 report a little over a week ago)... can't get one through EXP, CE or anyone else... I can't even check the status of my investigation on EXP site. My investigations should end by Monday, so I guess I'm getting a little antsy. Anyone else have this problem with EXP blocking access to your report?
hi kit kat... does it say why it is blocked? could it be a technical issue? or what msg do they provide? i am able to get a report every day on my credit watch acct
she's talking about creditexpert(experian)... did you dispute something before your blockage? they might have moved you to some special department aka legal... call and ask
Contact Kim Hughes at EXP. When I was blocked, she was able to get it unblocked within 48 hours. This happened because I sent an intent to sue letter. They will also block when you indicate possible fraud. Kim is in the Special Handling department. I have even left her voicemails with no callback, but what I wanted done was done!
I called- there is no fraud alert, so that is not the issue. I did threaten to sue, so it is likely in "legal." The rep I spoke to at EXP couldn't tell me why I was blocked exactly.... I'll try again Monday.
Do you know how to reach Kim Hughes?? I have 2 negatives w/ Experian that both myself AND the CA's sent info to delete from my report and they won't do it! They keep saying that they are not receiving the info, but both CA's sent me the actual fax confirmations where Exp. received this stuff. They are extremely difficult to deal with
