    I've enjoyed my visits to Credit Net ... until now. There's a lot of bickering and I have to read through it to get to the material I need. I no longer look forward to reading posts at Credit Net.

    It's been an experience. Thanks for the advice and information. Best of luck to everyone.

    Really?? Isn't that like letting the bullies win?? Have you tried the ignore button?? It seems to work wonders. I wouldn't let them run me off, until I was ready to leave on my own!! Yes, there has been a lot of bickering here lately, but I think that has more to do w/ the loss of PBM. He stopped these things before they got out of control, and now they just run rampant. Hopefully a new moderator will appear soon, and be as passionate about the site as PBM was.

    Folks is this the impression we really want people to have of CN or ourselves?

    DON'T WE ALL WANT THE MEMBERSHIP TO GROW?

    Is leaving new or short timers with such impressions as kids the way to acomplish such a goal?

    My personal opinion is that CN will survive. It has since 1996 through some of the worse verbal battles I have ever witnessed. We have in the process lost some very knowledgable people, the loss of PBM will hurt, but hopefully the new PBM will keep things in order.

    It is my wish that you not leave because of Greg's attacks on me, if that is your reasoning. You have issues that you want to get solutions to and this is probably the best site on the web to find those answers. There are many others here that can also benefit from your input. I would rather see you put both myself and Greg on ignore than have you leave. The last thing I desire to have happen is to cause any member, even someone like the windbag formerly known as Greg, leave the CreditNet community. This is a family and families bicker and fight with each other. But when a family member decides to leave, that diminishes the entire family.

    Ignore works great! Try it. People who are always trying to disrupt cannot do it if you can't see what they're posting.

    Sadly, I find myself in agreement with him. There is way too much back and forth on this board, and it was here even before PBM left. Don't get me wrong because I love the CN boards but sometimes I feel the same way (there are other message boards out there).

    Though I am saddened by your decision, Iwould like you to know that with your assistance, you as well as others have made a great impact on my life with the knowledge you've shared. Please reconsider. Thanks

    No credit message board compares to this one. This is by far the most visited.

    Let's all face it, we love to fight! If we didn't, we wouldn't be here. We would let the scum sucking CA's, the money hungry OC, and the no good CRA's win.

    They don't win unless we go down fighting.

    Your own tagline is bickering...

    You need thicker skin than that to play this credit game...

    We make a few mistakes. Actually I've learned the secret to avoid baby sitting someone elses emotional crap. Ignore It!

    I only have one person on ignore because I think everyone, at least occasionally, has some insight whereby I might learn something.

    But I have developed 2 personal rules I now follow religiously;

    1) Never feed a troll, troublemaker or back stabber, (you know who you are).

    2) Scan the threads quickly to determine if it's useful or just an exercise for some silly members temper tantrum. If it is, ignore the thread.

    It's truly that simple.

    If someone, especially an old timer, who has any respect for the board and wanted to leave, they should just leave and shut up about it.

    This incessant whining about how lousy the board has become before doing so just serves to perpetuate the problem and FURTHER contaminate the board.

    Therefore, my thought to anyone who feels they need to belly ache about how lousy the baord has become prior to their leaving I have only one message;

    Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

    Sounds like a bit of unneeded drama. Ignore works wonders and in this credit game we must have thick skin to take the abuse of the ccc's, debt collectors, repo men (and women) and of course the BK courts. Come to think of it, the more and more I read up on U.S. BK law the less afraid I am of filing my own case. And once this little BK matter is done and gone, I look forward to cleaning up my credit.

    CN has been a godsend and I am thankful to have such a valuable and trustworthy resource to turn to when I need help.

    Cardkid has not read this thread 1 in 1,000,000

    [TROLL ALERT] notation is usually good enough to let that POST die and go to page 10...or 50...

    BUMPS on [TROLL] is what keeps in the first 5 pages...

    If I get behind...I don't go past page 5...to catch up.
