Its not my intention to offend anyone here but why all the drama? I think Breeze said before...use the ignore button.

Some "Johnny Come Lately" shows up offends somebody and next thing you know here pops up a new thread with 50+ post because some member wants to call it quits because his/her feelings were hurt.

Now instead of dealing with credit issues we're all posting please stay & don't leave us messages. This is just getting ridiculous!

Cardkid, my advice to you is IGNORE THEM. As GEORGE pointed out before these TROLLS come here to piss us all off and get us arguing amongst ourselves. They manage by conflict.

IMO, many of you posters would rather coin a "troll" then engage yourself in the topics. If I am the first one to point out or ARGUE (not irrefutably) that:

a) a permissible purpose does not require that the debt be a "credit account"

b) CRA can go beyond 30 days to do an investigation

If I am the first one to take these positions, and I support them with case law and legislative history, that is cause for an intellectual debate. IMO, it is ignorance that prevents one from seeing that...

To reiterate, it is not an attack or an attempt to discredit, it is an attempt to stimulate some intellectual conversation, albeit controversial.

 

You should spend some time with the search function, the kid.

You should spend some time with the search button, the kid, and you will discover you are not the first to have made these suggestions, though how you've used it in this thread is inaccurate and misleading.

Correct me if I'm mistaken but I believe several posters asked what a TROLL was. GEORGE was responding to that inquiry. So even though his posts be 5 or 5000 didn't deal with a credit issue he was responding to an inquiry on this thread and was on topic.

Therefore, it doesn't matter how many times he posts. I've seen others post WAY off topic and no one has complained. Why now GEORGE?

Kid, GEORGE has been on this board or some time now. He is always polite & respectful to others and will offer advice to those who need it. I strongly suggest you extend the same courtesy to him.
