Well, after contacting all 3 CRA's today and disputing several items, I may finally be on my way towards my first goal - a score of 600+. My question is this... does anyone have an idea (average) how much a single "negative" tradeline will impact your score. In other words, if I have 12 out of 18 due to be off of my report by the end of 2002, how much could I possibly expect my score to improve? A. J.
I'm not sure but I should be able to give you a clue in a couple of weeks. I've got an error on six loans that are showing past due amounts. Once they clear, I'll post what my score increase is.
