<< I had a defaulted student loan that was garnished my wages 2 years ago, now it's all done paid for. It reported in my credit file as "paid collection" which mean same as "bad debt".
1*how can I either have it remove completely
2*or have it reported in a more favorable way like "paid"
should I use estoppel letter or dispute it?

1*Is this being reported by The OC or a CA?
If CA send them a validation letter hoping they screw up and break the law then use the violation{s} to force deletion.
2* Paid is no better than not paid.
