what is the proper address for service of process to sue TU/EFX/EXP ? Seems like a lay-up given what I've collected on my ID theft case and their refusal to remove info thus far...also, any idea on how much one can collect per account they screw me on? Is it the same as for collectors comething like $5k per instance? I was also turned down for a job as a direct result of the CRA refusal to delete ID THEFT INFO, can I collect un-earned salary for that? Must I sue CRA's in their "headquarters city" or can I file locally? Thanks! Here is a tidbit of what I've gotten so far........

Experian: "your ID theft info does not meet the FCRA requirement" (ahhh, sorry, yes it does and I have everything you require, and included it in my request to delete such as police report, ID theft affidavit (notarized), other info)

TU: "we have 30-plus days to investigate, and have confirmed 5 accounts that will remain on your file" (even though I have letters from the same 5 CA's saying they instructed TU to delete)

My favorite- Equifax - no response yet but by pulling my reports I see they added four accounts that are based somewhere I never lived and not mine, and deleted my three open trade lines, all as a result of an ID theft filing.

    WTF? Any ideas people?

If I were you I would contact my Secretary of State's office and have them serve the poor suckers as normally the Secretary of State is the defacto/default process servers when you can't figure out who in your state is authorized to receive and accept service of process.

I should note here that I do not nor ever have worked for any CRA.

It's just simpler to go through the Secretary of State as well. But, you will need to pull down the address from your SOS website for the Summons.
