This is my first suit against a creditor and it is scheduled for tomorrow a.m. I have filed against this agency for violation FDCPA 809(b) (ceasing debt collection until proper validation is provided)and for violation of FCDPA 807(5) (CA threatened me with legal action). Does anyone have any advice for me? The CA is an attorney so I am a bit concerned as they have an extablished relationship with the magistrate. Any words of wisdom for my final preparation of this matter is greatly appreciated.
The atty showed up (I was suing a collection atty) and last minute filed a request to move it to district court. This is fine by me but he should have done it sooner as this was the only option (being an atty he can't represent himself). Now for the "however"... I wish it was done because I WANT MY $$$$!! <ggg> Thanks for asking.
