So far for 2002 I have not applied for any new credit. I know it's only 7 days into the new year, but I usually applied for new credit 7 times a day. The temptation is always there every time I read about someones recent approval. I plan not to apply until June or July. Let's hope my will power holds up.
I thought I would stop applying for new cards last year itself, but I couldn't resist. I applied for two cards in the last three months. The thing is that as time goes on, new cards with better terms and benefits come out so it's really tough to resist good deals.
