Doris, I see that your Credit Card Board fields a lot of questions from people regarding student loans. I wondered if it would be all right to mention that we have a newsgroup, soc.college.financial-aid, that is pretty much dedicated to that subject. I mention it for two reasons: to encourage people to contact us if their student loan questions go beyond the purposes of your Credit Card Board, and also to invite you to drop in occasionally if you're interested. I know of two easy ways to reach the newsgroup: either subscribe to it through Outlook Express or some other newsreader program, or go to the Discussions/Usenet area near the top of the page at Deja.com and do a Power Search for the soc.college.financial-aid forum.
