Hi how can i determine the first deliqent date of my three credit cards.I have not paid them since 1995 and live in California. When i received my credit report it said last deliquent 2 years ago on most charge offs. please help!
Don't worry about what shows up on your credit report in terms of the real SOL. In Cali it's 4 years for a written contract and all that matters is when the account first went 30 days with no payment made ever again. If you last made a payment in 1995 then you are in the clear and they can not sue you although they can try to collect and report to the CRA's. Sounds like it's time for you to start your validation proccess.
