Hi there! Haven't been here in a long time. Nice to see you all again. I have a debt from Providian that went deliquent in 2002 and in the interim Providian sold all of its subprime cardholders to Sherman Acquisitions aka Alegis Group aka LVNV(their name as of today). Stupid me, I found this out from Alegis Group and started making tiny payments to them. I got wise and my last payment to them was in Dec. of 2003. They sent me to their "pre-legal" dept. and then the fake lawyers. I ignored calls for months from a Bourdreau and Associates(their fake lawyers) and they sent it to another CA just recently. They're called American Coradius. I only answered the phone because I didn't check the # first. Didn't admit to anything. Asked for all info. in writing. Will DV them soon but they're saying that my last date of payment to Providian was Jan 2. 2004. I asked how was this payment made- by check, m.o. and she didn't know. I keep all records neat and tidy in a file and know my last payment to everyone. I know the SOL is 4 yrs. in Pa but did I restart it by paying Alegis? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
