Hi, all. I'm starting on my quest for good credit and have some questions. I have charge-offs on my reports dating back from 1998. These occurred while I was a student in Tennessee. Until last year, my state of residency was Texas. Which state SOL applies to my debtâ??TN or TX? Any answers y'all may have are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
The CA can use either the SOL from the state the contract was signed in, or the state you currently reside in.
