SOL on "negotiable instruments?"

    Anyone know where to find the state laws and SOLs on negotiable instruments?

    a 'check' for example is one.. i found out from an attorney that a check is a negotiable instrument as opposed to a written contract.

    I heard the avg is 3 years..

    It's 3 years here, Arizona, and I found it in the UCC of the State, available online. I've only a link for Arizona though, be happy to post it if it will help you. I understand that every state has adopted a form of it usually near the same as the feds version.
