    Hi..I have an SOL question..

Have cc in State 1, lived there for 4 years...
I now live in State 3 (with a short stint in State 2 in there).

Whose SOL do I use?? And, it is from the date of delinquency, right?

Just for info..I'm guessing as this is all news to me, this is actually the trolls, er ex-husband's acct...he filed bankruptcy...now visiting me. I have no clue if I was an AU or not..guess I'll find out:(

    As always, thanks!

Everything I've read says a lender has their choice of using the SOL from the state where you lived when you were issued credit or the SOL from the state where you now live.

Ok, Dave, thanks..it's hard to know as I don't have any details on this acct...so will first dispute as not mine.

Oh, and the troll is not visiting me, ugh...maybe his bill is.. lol

    (I'd rather have his bill).aahahaha..

sorry, it's early sunday, what can I say?

Ok, here's one more..if I'm moving back to original state within 3 months, then the only choice would be that state?

    Just a thought!

    Seems like a reasonable assumption.

Ok, well, that really helps! I am moving back and the SOL is going to make a big difference! So, that really helped along my decision! :)

    OK..thanks...

By the way, if anybody else has info on this, please let me know..the SOL that is! All opinions are much appreciated!
