I really feel stupid asking this, but please forgive me as I'm a newbie and not a very smart one at that.I have an old debt that I really am not sure of the Sol. I defaulted in Nov-1997=30 according to old credit report from 2001. Charge off said 9-98. Recent credit report I attained because of collection on 2-03 said original creditor date of last activity was 8/96. charged off 8/98. I used to live in Ohio until recently.4 yrs. Sol for cc. WV 5yrs. Sol. My last payment was 10/97 as far as 2001 report. I had to go through CCC to get the credit report for 2003. And I only had them send for the report. When does the SOL for a lawsuit begin? Sorry so lengthy. I really need to make sure quickly. And what date to come off cr. CA has entered it for two different ages.
