My husband had a memebership with a health club that he was forced to stop paying on due to financial problems. He signed the originall contract in Colorado but didn't stop paying until he was living in Illinois. My question is this.....Colorado's SOL is shorter than Illinois, so the CA would naturally choose Illinois. But, the contract that he signed gave him memebership across the country at any club affiliated, so, does the CA have to refer to Colorado for the SOL? If not, then does the statute on this type of contract begin when it is signed or when the last payment was made? Any information would be helpful.
