got a notice from a ca about an owed debt and I responded to it that I did not owe the debt and was not reponsible for it...sent it back to ca never heard from again...2/03 by the way. 2/05 get a call from another ca... they say they are collecting for the ca above. i tell them same thing i told the other ca... they still called for a month have not heard from them lately..i did mention that the debt was almost 5 years old and beyond sol ...of course the reaction was no the debt is not beyond sol.. i am out of sol because where i now live it is 3 yrs and in state it went into default and lived at the time it is 4 yrs. so covered there.the debt in june will be 5 years old.. my question is what would under the ga sol law or under nc sol law bring this back within the sol to be able to sue legally.. i am confused on some of the wording in those 2 states statues... could someone please read those sol laws and let me know what they exactly say..in plain english...
