My husbands credit report is reporting his 4 year auto loan on two of his credit reports as two separate accounts because the auto loan was sold during the 25th month of the loan he is paying on. There is a listing for the bank that it was sold to ( Fleet) and the original bank he got the loan from (Summit). With Summitt he has three 30 day lates but no lates with Fleet . Does having the loan listed this way affect his credit score for good or bad?

More importantly , Experian does not list Summitt bank at all but lists us as only having the loan with Fleet and it is reported that we were 3 times thirty days late with them. Also the dates that he was late are a month off on all three dates listed on Experian Credit report. Does this effect our score for good or for bad? Thanks Diane
